Burris Fullfield Scopes

Fullfield® & Fullfield II™

For over 25 years, sportsmen have enjoyed the optical and mechanical performance afforded by the legendary Fullfield
scope
. The Fullfield II enhancements posture the Fullfield name to continue it's legacy for many years to come.

The Fullfield II boasts the following enhancements:

Friendly
The Fullfield has always been complimented on brightness, sharpness, and clarity. The Fullfield II is now much more forgiving for eye positioning fore and aft, and left and right. Optic design and light management contribute to the improvement.

Lightweight
Using modern alloys and machining techniques, we've reduced the weight by 20% -25% without affecting durability or optical performance. In fact, several areas are even stronger. The Fullfield II is about an inch shorter than it's predecessor for a more compact look and feel.

Sealing
Most scopes have three or four potential leak paths in the eyepiece/power ring area. The new Fullfield II has but two. These leak paths are sealed with special quad seals rather than low-tech O-rings. To change magnification, turn the entire eyepiece which is now integral to the power ring. A European-style adjustable eyepiece is easy to use and requires no locking mechanism.

Mounting
We've moved the adjustment system rearward to better accommodate mounting situations. Also, the eyepiece is shorter, allowing even more mounting flexibility -- more than you'll find on just about any scope.

Trajectory Compensation
Along with the Fullfield II came a simple way to improve long range marksmanship. Several are available with a Ballistic Plex reticle. The lower part of the crosshair has ballistic lines that compensate for bullet drop from 100 yards to 500 yards for many common hunting cartridges. See page 5 for a thorough description of this great new reticle.

Burris 6X-40mm
For us traditionalists, it's getting tough to find quality fixed power riflescopes. Of course it's a volume thing. But because we too love tradition and the rugged uncompromising simplicity of fixed power scopes, we went ahead and made a better one with a seamless outer tube end-to-end and lighter and shorter. We hope you like it too.
